What information we collect
Enquiry form: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, message, and optionally a photo of your staircase.
Shop orders: your name, delivery address, email, phone number, and payment details. Payment is processed securely by Shopify — we never see or store your full card details ourselves.
Newsletter sign-up: if you tick the box to receive offers and updates, we collect your email address for that specific purpose. This is always a separate, genuine opt-in — contacting us with an enquiry or placing an order does not automatically sign you up to marketing emails.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote; to process, fulfil and deliver your order; to send you marketing emails only if you've explicitly opted in; and to keep basic records as required for accounting purposes.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum information necessary with: Shopify (order processing and payment), FormSubmit (our enquiry form provider), our delivery/courier partners, and product suppliers where an item is shipped directly by them on our behalf. We do not sell your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or order, and afterwards only as long as required for legal and accounting purposes (typically up to 6 years for financial records).
Cookies and analytics
This website does not currently use tracking cookies or analytics. If this changes in future, this policy will be updated to reflect it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to marketing communications at any time. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
